First Tutorial today, the tutor was going over the basic code, all stuff that I already knew so I went exploring, making some stuff I did an attempt at drawing some sort of flame(http://www.openprocessing.org/sketch/65562) but it's pretty basic
as well as a constant animation thingy http://www.openprocessing.org/sketch/65563
some fun with the mouse http://www.openprocessing.org/sketch/65564
and code for an automatic Grid(can be re-sized for different canvases with ease) to use in development of future projects http://www.openprocessing.org/sketch/65565
I also showed some other students who were ahead how to animate their things and how to use if statements, as well as a few other basic tips

Introduction

Today I went to the first DSDN Lecture, I was somewhat unprepared and have missed the first tutorial, I have had to drop theater because every tutorial space was clashed with other subjects that I have had, although it's been a rough start I am looking forward to the tutorial tomorrow as I found the lecture quite interesting, I enjoyed manipulating my shape despite my abysmal lack of graph paper. I even started formulating how to construct my image manipulator in Java but apparently we are using a higher level programming language dedicated to graphics called processing, I look forward to becoming experienced with this language

the concept of form as something that you recognize interests me as I often create abstract designs using GIMP, a few of which I will show now, as what better way to start my first DSDN blog then to showcase my previous experiments, amateur and untrained though I am

An attempt at making a realistic skyline, brushes used for Clouds and Tree, all custom gradient work used after B/W version(see here http://i.imgur.com/oqyzi.png) was made this is currently my piece that I am most proud of

Just some messing around, experiments
More random experimentation I had a corrugated rooftop in mind and expanded from there

I will have to ask anyone reading my blog to please excuse my often terrible Grammar.
